La Grande Brasserie

This is simply my favorite go-to place for a meal in Agen. Authentic Art Deco Decor, right at the rail station, what could evoke that by-gone era, with the romance of travel more? Then you also have a great menu with fresh salads and hot choices to suit any palette. I nearly always try to add a meal here on to any journey from Agen, but don’t wait for that excuse to try this place.

A great restaurant. Very capable waitress. Good food and house wine. And open every day of the week! Don't worry about it being near the train station.

good food, reasonable prices but extremely unattentative staff. We signaled them multiple times, that we want to order something and then pay, but they ignored us or one time even nodded but then didn't come back. We waited for quite some time and then went in to pay, they even tried to charge us 10€ extra. Very unfriendly staff!
