Traditional family friendly cheap creperie. I was originally sceptical due to the previous review when I went there. But I am originally french and realised quickly the cultural gap in the review. Small but very friendly family treat. Animal friendly which is rare! You will find simple crêpes with good cider. People don't come there for the decoration but for the affordable family treat as it is very affordable.we were 8 people ( to book because it is small ). And if you wonder why you drink cider in a cup. It is about respect history and drink the cider as it was in the past. Well known and called "la bolée". Not to confound with restaurant. Creperie is originally created to be affordable to anyone.
Very friendly lady and nice food for a good price. Good service!
The only positive was the friendly welcome and polite service. The food was, however, a big let down. Whilst this is indeed a restaurant specialising in crepes I was surprised how poor the main dishes were. We chose the tagliatelle bolognese and the tagliatelle with salmon. Both were a disappointment. The bolognese was dry and lacked flavour. As for the salmon dish it too lacked flavour and the tagliatelle meanwhile swam in a rather pallid, watery cream sauce. I thought the French could cook! Sadly the espresso coffee was also a disappointment and lacked intensity and flavour. For the some €23 we paid it was not really value for money and certainly not the best meal I've had in France.
top crepes, top courtesy, top location.
Very nice welcome but level of base, that's not it. The pancakes and especially the ingredients are frankly not good. The overcooked egg. It's functional but really not an address where you will lick your lips.
