Bar de l'Hôtel de Ville

What a find. Small cafe bar on market place with a modest menu. At lunch today we had the best EVER seafood salad for €11!! Had to change plans for dinner and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

This little bar on the square is open daily for lunch, when the food is standard cafe-type fare. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, it is also open for dinner, when the food is well above average standard. It is advisable to book, but be warned, bars in Les Andelys close early! The atmosphere is that of a local bar, but the food is definitely a cut above. The toilets were spotless, but I could not connect to wifi and dogs are not welcome in the restaurant. However, the food was excellent value and I will certainly be returning.

Very good discovery during a lunch stop on the way to vacation. Reduced choice menu but everything is homemade. Excellent and generous skate salad, offered as a main course, we shared it with 3! The shallot flank steak is tender and well garnished with fries and salad. In short, an address to remember and recommend
