Delahaye Moving

Hello - i am going to try to be assertive and accurate as much as possible to explain this V.painful experience with this company DelahayeMOVING... It all started when i came to NYC in July after being referred by a very close friend of mine that his company used Delahaye to send him back to Paris. Only the difference is I was looking to move out to Portugal and I was paying PA. After back and force Facetime videos with Bruno Marcais that was assuring me he and his coordinator Lenny will be my ONLY and ONLY contacts person I decided to move forward and pay first DP of 30%... FYI They were at least 25% higher than any other legit moving companies i have approached at that time - but i wanted to deal only with one intermediaries because that’s how they sold it to me... unfortunately none of this really happened and I had to engage and follow every Single step of it with movers in nyc (guymoving.com company) that did a really good job. They even helped me doing all the insane paperwork needed to clear customs and would update me on when the boat will depart etc... Delahaye who was supposed to help out only advised me to go to the French consulate at that time... wake up guys am moving to Portugal....!!! short story: the paperwork for Portugal requested documents that of course were supposed to be provided by the Portuguese embassy in NYC but since they reply to your email within 2 weeks if u lucky I kind of had to shake the tree and again Delahaye was absolutely useless in this process - then comes the moving situation in Portugal.... just another headache I had to coordinate myself - by that time I had pay close to $10,700 to Delahaye so my belongings doesn’t get hostages... they basically offer a service at a v.high cost that is pretty much inexistant. If you listen to this Bruno Marcais guy he will tell you anything to get your money and was never able to justify with proper receipts any of the extras fees I had to pay: broker fees / container scan / permits etc... my advise is to use seperate movers because that Delahaye formula is just a complete rip off.. The worst part for me despite paying a lot of money was the lack of honesty / Transparency and most importantly the lack of acting in good faith. Movers in nyc were great / the one in Portugal was ok too - not sure they were very honest or transparent but the moving team was cautious so I gave them a good tip... Delahaye 1 (ONE) star only am afraid. Dellaye team - don't bother justifying urself am still waiting for my receipts and my appointment at the french embassy....
