Restaurant auberge la taulado

We had a nice meal here, it was reasonable value. The food and drink menus were both pretty limited. The salad was ok but surprisingly average, and the kids meal not great. However, the creme brulee was awesome and the kids loved the ice-cream! The lady serving was also really nice and great with the kids.

Beautiful setting, nice food and small menu. Slightly more expensive than I would have thought for a village restaurant. If they brought their price down, I would return.

The people here are really nice and hospitable. It took for the food a long time to arrive, but it was worth it! We ordered duck confi, which was the best one we had so far, Saute de legume au pullet (saute chicken with vegetables), which was just excellent, royale sauciss (a stew with homemade sausage and beans), this was also delicious, and the last dish was salat chevre chaud (warm goat cheese salad), which was great! The coctalis were good too. Definitely a place worth visiting and revisiting!

In the depths of Périgord, on the advice of our hotelier we landed at "La TAulado" as luck does things well !!!!!! We were greeted by a charming Gaëlle and we ate real local cuisine made by Olivier. Ironically, they are from Reunion Island and cook duck in all its forms better than some "locals" 😉😉 Another asset if you are tired of eating 🦆🦆🦆 you have the "Reunion" option 🍹🌴😉😎🌞 every day a different Reunion dish awaits you 👍👍👍👍👍👍 To end the evening arranged rum "banana / vanilla - flambéed banana - leetchi ........ delicious 😉😉 Thank you Gaëlle and Olivier for your welcome, kindness, simplicity, quality 👍👍💋 good and long continuation to you

Magnificent setting, warm welcome and friendliness of the staff. Reduced menu, but everything is homemade! And is absolutely delicious. A nice blend of Perigord and Réunion. Typical Perigord dishes for lovers of the traditional (mushroom sauce with beautiful perfectly cooked duck breast, cabecou and perigourdine salads), and soft mixing for the rest of the dishes (courgette turmeric / ginger gratin, sweet potato fries. No children's menus but thank you for Our feasts on duck carry with olives. Generous, quantities served. Nice desserts. The ice creams are tasty. Sorry for the, photo of the dish. It smelled so good I didn't have time to photograph before 'taste it ... it does not do justice to the dressing of the dish
