Excellent place. Meal was superb so good I forgot to take photos!! The meat is cooked on an open fire by the chef to customers requirements. The staff were great and tried to speak some English. We arrived without a reservation, but the were able to give us a table in the restaurant. It was a quiet table with a great view of the big fireplace. The service was friendly and attentive. All the meat was cooked over the coals from the fire. All the food was very well prepared and very tasty. Presentation was very nice as well. Great value! It is a short drive outside of Sarlat, but well worth it.

A standout meal in a charming building. Everything from the opening olives to the delicious blood orange dessert was full of flavour, and the service was very good. I will remember this experience.

Had an excellent menu in which every course was prepared with the utmost eye for detail. You could taste the love and dedication it was made with. Very nice too that we saw the chef come out to collect herbs from the garden every once and a while. Such a pleasant man too!

Exceptional meal. The beef and the fish were delicious. The blood orange dessert incredible.
