Guisnel Distribution

AVOID!!!! I have had to deal multiple times with this shipping company, not by choice since they are the designated delivery company of maison du monde. Every time another terrible logistic issue, or bad behavior from the employees picking up the phone. 1. first time, they delivery men came to the front of my appartment and just left without delivering my couch. The reason: some construction work that they deemed made them unable to deliver the couch. This was completely false since the works were not blocking the entrance 2. second time, I change the delivery date due to me not being available on the date they picked, the delivery men still showed up even though the date was moved (this happened on two seperate occasions). 3. rescheduling delivery date, then on the same day of the delivery i get a message saying that the delivery has been pushed to the next week. 4. When contacting customer service, employees are unprofessional and rude. I got forwarded to different people 5 times in one call.

Guisnel Distribution is really incompetent. I was supposed to receive my order last Thursday (December 10, 2020), between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. I stayed 4 hours at home for nothing and no apology message. The next day I receive an email telling me that I will be delivered on Thursday, December 17 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. So I organize myself professionally once again to be present in this time slot. Thursday December 17th at 6.30pm the delivery man calls me to tell me that he will not be able to come today because he is overworked… and tells me that he will be there the next day, Friday December 18th at 9.30am at my place. Obliged once again to organize myself ... It is 12h00 and no delivery man from Guisnel Distribution has come and I still have no news from the delivery man in question and from the Guisnel Distribution group. I think there are people who should reorient themselves professionally ... because seriously they are really out of place. It should come as no surprise that in France there are companies that are closing ...

A delivery man defined by maison du monde, the Guisnel company had to deliver us a sofa in addition to lamps and other items. To prepare for the reception of the delivery as well as possible, we get rid of our old sofa the day before. Delivery time arrives, the delivery people get out of their truck and tell us that the sofa is missing ... Annoyed, we call Maison du Monde who tells us that the sofa has been lost at the carrier and that it is now out of stock ... Conclusion: We find ourselves without a sofa for several weeks and unable to buy one ... (confinement). We are more than disappointed with the delivery, the carrier could have warned us in advance rather than put us in front of a fait accompli. We might have had time to turn around a minimum (at least not to get rid of our old sofa ...) In addition, many of our other items are damaged (damaged paintings, bent lamp, split wood ...) If there was a 0 star rating, I would give it. This is only what the company deserves.

Since May 23, the transporter Guisnel is supposed to contact me within 2 to 3 weeks to organize the delivery of a pool table. Despite several email reminders or attempts to try to reach them, I remain unanswered. No sense of customer service. In the end, on June 26, I finally get the information that the delivery will take place on July 3.

I was delivered by Guisnel for my furniture and I am delighted with it, the delivery people were professional and efficient they helped me unpack all the adorable furniture like any thank you
