On Wednesday October 28, 2020, I washed my vehicle in an automatic car wash at the Chamnord shopping center wash center located near the Mercedes Chambéry garage. After the wash was done, I was surprised to see my missing taillight. I call the manager who tells me he's never seen this !!! We collect the cache which was on the ground and which had been dragged by the rollers. Note, the washing system is recent. I am flabbergasted !!! I go to the nearby Mercedes dealership, I am welcomed by the receptionist to whom I show my problem and who tells me he has never seen this !!! Note, the cover and / or the car have not suffered any shocks, traces of scratches, etc. found with him. He made a request for support for this repair which was refused by the Mercedes after-sales service. I go back to the wash, the manager does not understand how the right taillight was able to separate. In conclusion, after taking advice from a specialist in heat sealing, ultrasonic welding and heat sealing, I conclude that this taillight has a manufacturing defect. This incredible situation, of a rear light that comes apart during a roller wash is an unacceptable bad gag on a Mercedes brand vehicle, on a vehicle that I bought in the Mercedes network on December 14, 2018, which is under Millétoile warranty, vehicle registered on 07/01/2017, registration EQ-570-EZ. I remind you that this vehicle has not suffered any shock or accident. The disapproval responses I subsequently received from your garage and the manufacturer Mercedes are not branded. For the 3rd year of overhaul of my Mercedes, I had never been billed for the loan of a replacement vehicle! The salesperson, Alexandre, didn't want to hear anything. I had to manage otherwise. By far my worst experience at Mercedes!
