Volkswagen quality in free fall ... and Jean Lain after-sales service too! We have a GOLF 6 DIESEL bought new in 2012 from Jean Lain in Chambéry. After having been concerned by the "Dieselgate", we must now change a front wheel bearing because it is already out of order (good on a car which is less than 8 years old and less than 105,000 km ...). Amount of repair at Jean Lain: € 399.00 vs € 250.00 at Midas (with NTN-SNR brand bearing included). Obviously we choose Midas and ask for a contribution from Volkswagen to Jean Lain Chambéry. Response from Jean Lain: "requests for commercial participation are only considered if the interventions are carried out in the Volkswagen network". We specified that this is our 7th Golf, all bought new and most of them from Jean Lain, and we have never had the slightest problem. There will therefore be no 8th Volkswagen, and our future car will obviously not be purchased from Jean Lain !!

No service ... Volkswagen quality is over !! To sell you a car, no complaints. On the other hand, the day you have a problem, Volkswagen and Jean Lain slip away… It's still not the customer's fault that the parts in their cars are of poor quality, let alone the rigged diesel engine! Short concession and builder to avoid, next time I will buy another brand. And I will go through an auto agent since the dealership provides no added value, apart from a much higher vehicle price!
