CAMPING EUROPA _ Lac d'ANNECY

Fantastic campingsite! The view from the pool is breath taking! The sanitary building is absolutely first class and super clean. Our pitch for the caravan was big and had enough shadow from the threes. Very pleasent staff. We had a great time here and surely want to go back!

I have been before a few times but it was so noisy this time. The road, bike path and other guests were the cause. We have always been allowed to stay and use the pool after we have left our pitch however when i asked at reception if we could this time I was told ‘no’. No explanation was given just a ‘non’ shouted over the counter at me. The staff were pretty unfriendly (apart from one older lady who looked after the pool area). We were told to wear our masks in the toilet blocks at all times which we did but did not see another guest do the same and there was no-one there to remind them. The soap ran out in the toilets one morning so i told reception when i was passing. I was shocked to find the soap still empty until the following day. Not good when we’re meant to be washing our hands more. I wont be going back. Just too loud and the rude staff just don’t seem to care. Shame as we like the pool area and the restaurant used to be pretty good.

We have stayed at this campsite every year for the past 5 years, both in a tent and also in a chalet. I have been to many campsites all over Europe over the past 15 years and this is the best. The staff are always polite and helpful and so friendly. The restaurant is superb and the pool and slides are fantastic. We had to leave early this year due to the UK introducing quarantine and whilst it was our choice to leave early, they refunded the remainder of our stay without me even asking them to do so. I cannot think of one negative thing to write about this campsite.

The most amazing campsite for families. How anyone cannot give this 5 stars I do not know. Lovely, modern, clean showers and toilet blocks, fantastic water park, restaurant and other kids activities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Nice camping, disappointing was the part where our electricity was down, and they came from reception to our chalet , and this woman was complaining that she had to come while her work time just finshed! Unbelievable, instead of saying sorry she made us feel as if we were a burden to her! How about that for customer service ...
