La Gourmandine

A lovely restaurant run by two local women, who still grill all the food using the massive mediaeval fireplace at the back of the room. Exceptional quality food - the best grilled fish, prawns and steak we have ever had. Scallops melted in your mouth. The decor is eclectic. Book, as it is very popular with locals.

What a restaurant! Excellent is the only word to describe the food ,ambiance and welcome you receive. The choice is a little limited when you use the restaurant as many times as I do but the meat and fish are cooked just as you won't. House wine very good as is the choise of other wines The owner is fantastic she had worked so hard to improve this restaurant over the last two years or so. I carnt recommend the restaurant highly enough long may it do well. By the way its awarm welcome to the French and English and everyone.

The welcome at the top. We ate the lunch menu, well I, who have an appetite based on sparrows, so I filled my stomach. It was so good. We will definitely go back. The à la carte prices are a bit high for me. This is just why I didn t give 5 stars

Super cozy restaurant It looks sober on the outside, but on the inside it is very authentic The food itself was perfect too The large fireplace where you can bake meat or fish only makes things better Highly recommended when in Lannion
