A 'Pompes Funèbres Générale' agency, capable of not respecting the wishes of the family of a deceased person, just wishing to maximize the profit made following someone's death, it is a SHAME. We had a deplorable experience with the PFG company that I do not recommend to anyone, run away from this agency, run away from this company which respects neither the living nor the dead, nor even French law !!! We had asked to manage the funeral announcement ourselves, with our loved ones and family. We have twice refused the proposed service of publishing an announcement of the death in a local newspaper. Despite this, PFG has published a page announcing these funerals on the Internet, visible to all! This page contained personal data which should never have been published without an agreement. But PFG is ignoring the law. When I called to request the immediate removal of this page on the Internet, I was told that there was only one service available, to make quotes, but in no case to take charge of my request. ! We also asked very explicitly: "No flowers" but only donations to an association to honor the memory of the deceased. PFG again did not take into account the wishes of the family and offered to those who wished to order fresh flowers from their company to honor the deceased. FROM PROFIT TO PROFIT, to the detriment of the family, of the deceased and even in our case, to the detriment of a children's aid association! Outrageous behavior. PFG offered us compensation of 50 euros following the expression of our dissatisfaction ... relatively little compared to what the law provides for this type of offense: Failure to respect the wishes of the deceased and his family (up to 6 months imprisonment and a fine of 7,500 euros) Failure to comply with the IT law and freedom on the use of personal data (up to 5 years in prison and a fine of € 300,000) Compensation that still sounds like a real lack of respect. NEVER go through the services of PFG, these traders will take advantage of the death of your loved ones to make maximum profit. To be avoided absolutely, losing a loved one is already an ordeal, do not add one more to yourself by going through this agency. RUN AWAY

I strongly recommend, PFG de Valenciennes who are now based in the town of Prouvy, most of the employees and managers are disrespectful, when my aunt died when they came into the beer came with a completely degraded and cracked coffin in all corners.
