Le Coq Rouge

Went for a meal this evening following a recommendation from locals and it did not disappoint. Tried the set vegetarian menu which consisted of cold beetroot and cheese soup, marmalade marinated tofu with vegetables cooked to perfection and a divine chocolate dessert. Great aperitif menu and good wine choices to suit all tastes (as you would expect). Highly recommend for a special night out. The service was fab - they even provided freshly laundered blankets when the temperature dropped.

I have visited this restaurant a number of times over the past few years. It is consistently an excellent dining experience. The staff are very friendly and speak multiple languages (French, English, and Polish). The restaurant is always very well presented. The menu has a good variety, and though it is based on meat/fish, there are vegetarian options. Portion sizes are reasonable - don't expect huge plates, do expect excellent cuisine. Prices are very reasonable, and they are able to cater to groups. Definitely recommended.

Always a pleasure to dine at le coq rouge. I was never disappointed in many visits during the last years. Take your time for a menu because the Entrées and cheese selection is excellent.

We absolutely love Le Coq Rouge. Everytime we go the staff are lovely, knowledgeable and attentive. The food is incredible (highly recommend the 3 course for 40€) and definitely the best restaurant in the area.
