GEMY ANGERS - Citroën

Did a major emergency repair for us when we broke down on the nearby A87. Repair arranged through our breakdown insurance agents, but I had to emial them directly, in French, to authorise the repair. As We are not fluent French speakers this garage did not give any consideration to that fact. Still they appear to have done a satisfactory repair, but have no idea if the price charged was good, bad or indifferent.

Not to be around, vehicle sent for injection failure is a 96 car so no "mechanic" suitcase lost. They pocketed a sum of 430 € to change the spark plugs and the rocker cover gasket. Rebelote the breakdown was still present but once the money pocketing the tone was not the same comment and reaction from the scandalous workshop manager. According to him, the car had to be scrapped and the vehicle stayed there for 3 weeks to tell me that they were unable to solve the problem. In addition to the recovery of my vehicle it was full of waste not removed from the mechanics I had to tell them to empty my vehicle of their waste. So I went to a small garage which is located in Beaucouze "central garage" where I had to deal with a real mechanic who was able to solve the problem in 2 days !!! .
