DPD France

Truly one of the worst delivery experiences of my life. Incompetent staff that would rather waste money on gas to make the same delivery than ring a doorbell. I stayed home on Friday (the original delivery date) and cancelled all my plans for today, Monday when they rescheduled the delivery. I was informed they will have to deliver another day. No one rang my buzzer, no one called my mobile. I have been waiting for my parcel’s contents for three weeks. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and their approach to “running a business”.

True disaster! At the end you would need to go to their agency to pick up your mail yourself. Zero trust in their service. Terrible experience. The worst ever.

Avoid at all cost if available

Worst delivery service, cannot find addresses in the time of Google maps. They never tried to call me, just cancelled my delivery by predicting that my address is not in planet earth. Never use this delivery service.

[June 2018] Really friendly personnel. However I think the processes could be improved. DPD tried to deliver 3 times my package, then I went to Fresnes to get it myself. I recommend to DPD: 1) Anticipate that in France door codes are normal and ask for this + ask for the phone number of the recipient. 2) Ask your partner shops if they accept big packages before trying to deliver them - and them being refused 3) Be more proactive: Deliver packages to a specified place in the building (e.g. the bike room or the like.), to the neighbor or to another shop if the first does not accept the package. 4) The German DPD should notify the user that at a certain point he should go to the French DPD website to enter his package ID.
