Great cuisine, the lamb was fantastic and the chef sat down with us to explain the dishes even if we spoke no french. A great place to eat after the tour of the nearby caves.

The best lunch of my life. We stopped here without expectations and were treated to a truly 5 star meal. We dined at an outdoor table in a picturesque setting. My wife and I both had a demi of house wine and ordered from the daily menu. All the ingredients were super fresh and mostly local. The fish was presented like a work of art. They offered us a special selection for our two boys, which wasn't on the menu. Duck leg and frites, with a sauce made from their own vegetable garden. After the boys finished their meal, they were able to explore around, playing with the pet cats and a turtle. The chef, Margaret Lienhardt spent some time chatting with us and was very friendly. All of this came at a very reasonable price. If you are anywhere near this place, you simply must stop in for a meal.

We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant by chance as we had two hours to kill before our cave tour in Isturitz, and the restaurant in Isturitz was closed for a party. I feel so lucky! The food was fantastic. Fresh ingredients, inspiring flavors, amazing chef and great service! They even said we could bring our big inside the restaurant. This kind of restaurant is what France is all about. Amazing food, off the beaten path and humble. I highly recommend it!

It was by chance that we discovered this hostel during a coffee break. The welcome was so warm that we returned for lunch. The chef has us prepared a surprise meal for my birthday. A real marvel of flavor, the quality of the products ... thank you, it was really a beautiful moment of taste and sharing with this lady full of life. To keep in the right places.

Overpriced. A fairly basic Basque chicken for a price of 20 € (which is still a bit expensive) but what is quite limited is a dessert at 12 € without announcing the price. The whole was very good but the whole was way overpriced. However the service was very fast as a result of the few people present and the salad comes from the vegetable garden which is very positive.
