Le Bar du Marché

DO NOT USE THIS BAR IF YOU ARE ENGLISH!! The owner clearly dislikes English people; he was extremely rude and dismissive when we ordered coffee at 9:30pm; he then served luke warm coffee in a plastic cup and sneered when we asked for it to be warmer; he then reluctantly provided extra hot milk for which he charged. The cost was €6 for two coffees, when the going rate was more like €3. When challenged, he sneered that France is expensive. No doubt he had a great laugh with his mates after we left. I understand that maybe the French don't drink coffee at night, although there were plenty of people doing so in other bars, but there was no excuse for such a poor attitude to tourists. A very disappointing experience as we have spent the past six weeks in Spain and Portugal and we never encountered any negativity whatsoever. One day in France and I can't wait to leave.

Quiet bar, pleasant terrace ... Clean. Add-on.. The repair of the square, alas, the disappearance of the fountain ... the continuing economic crisis ... did not allow a return of customers who can no longer park in front of the bar ... And since then, the Coronacircus crisis ... This bar deserves better!
