I have been going there for a decade, several times a month. A pleasant place. The staff listens to our requests. Fed up that the parking lot (21 spaces) reserved for visitors to the archives is largely occupied by neighbors or their guests: 4 visits in 2 weeks and 0 free space while 0 people at the exhibition, no conference or meeting room and 3 to 10 people in the reading room.

The online site is fully operational. It is the quality of the flow of the one who consults it which can slow down this one. Being equipped with fiber, I testify to the fluidity of the site. One regrets very well on the absence of the parts of archives destroyed in 1944, which complicates the task of the genealogist. The AD are obviously not for nothing.

Daniel Pilotte de la BAROLLIERE (04/30/2019)
Hello thank you for the friendly reception I received when I called this morning - here is the proof in 1793 my grandfather JACQUES de la BAROLLIERE of his real name JACQUES MARGUERITE PILOTTE of LA BAROLLIERE he did not participate in the Battle of Cherbourg it is an official document that I had at the historic defense service in Vincennes ➡️ nothing to do on the erroneous information of wilkipedia and other sites where amateurs ➡️ in August 2016 I had an article in the daily Southwest the only mistake it is mentioned my name Denis instead of Daniel ➡️ my grandfather JACQUES MARGUERITE PILOTTE of LA BAROLLIERE he began his military career at the age of 11 years ➡️ he was general of division on May 6, 1793 ➡️ he obtained by NAPOLEON BONAPARTE October 16, 1803 the first title of knight of the legion of honor I wish you an official email from Mrs. Anne-Lise GUINCHARD national museums ➡ ️ then Napol we Bonaparte gave him the title of Baron EMPIRE May 25, 1810 ➡️ I stand at your disposal for further information thank you for your understanding.

The new version, concerning the civil status is quite catastrophic; the old one used by many AD was much, much faster, and easy ... I hope that we will improve this version, or dare to go back to the old ... Thank you
