Bistro Regent

Terrible service. Will definitely not go back and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND for tourists. From the moment I walked in the host was annoyed. French is not my first language so I sometimes get confused when I speak it and the hostess seemed EXTREMELY annoyed at the fact that I got confused and took longer than usual to comprehend and respond to what he was saying. I wanted to order a dessert and a drink and they flat out denied me service saying that "If I wanted dessert and a drink I would have to order dinner." I was going to consume at least 10 Euros but they said I had to order a plate, which they all start at 15 Euros. To me, this makes no sense. Isn't business business no matter how much you consume? DEFINITELY NOT WELCOMING STAFF. There was absolutely ZERO need for them to be rude.

Wow..they really know how to cook..

Restaurant smells like burnt fat. We went inside because the terrace had a lot of wasps. Inside was empty and we asked for a table at the window. The girl made it ready for us. 5 minutes later the manager? tells us to move to a table for 2. We told him we had asked, but no. We concluded we are not welcome and left.

Unaccustomed to eating in this type of restaurant chain, I was convinced by recommendations from relatives. I find the quality of the food served correct for the price displayed. The service was very friendly. Pleasantly surprised to see that we are offered to have fries again when commercially there is every reason not to do so in order to encourage to go to dessert for example. In verdict, we can not expect an exceptional meal but it remains quite correct.

I recommend... The sauce that accompanied the dish excellent and the fries more than good! I had a good time with my daughter😄
