Au Bureau Archamps

As a British person I appreciated the decor greatly. The atmosphere is an attempt at a modern British Pub/Bistro. Chesterfield chairs and sofas are everywhere, the carpet is a decent attempt at pub chic, and the walls are lined with stereotypical British activities such as cricket! Staff are super friendly and helpful even when it's busy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was good, with a varied menu, and a good choice of dessert.

We went there twice, a first for a dish by explaining that we had 45 minutes to eat, by asking what could be served fastest, despite the advice of the waitress we will not have had time to finish our dish since arrived too long after ordering. The second time to have two coffees with two glasses of water, despite the kindness of the waitress, explaining to us that we should ask for the glasses of water after the coffees have been served seems limiting to me. Overall quite satisfied with the place, but a bunch of small details that need to be corrected to get close to perfection (maybe one day!).

Everything is at the top, the dishes (yes you can also find good salads and a superb salmon tartare), the wines and decadent desserts not to mention a very warm welcome from the whole team. Warm atmosphere inside and pleasant terrace outside in summer

Deception of this place .... extra long service for not too many people then we took salads so yes the plate is well filled but except that you will mainly have green salad which makes the volume but little garnish that with salmon is really abused and when we pointed it out to 1 waitress was the portions of their technical sheet she answered. And so long service that we left without anyone getting rid of us or asking for coffee or dessert! Disappointed I don't think of going back
