Beware this review is not for everyone! First of all, thank you to the library of Villeneuve-la-Garenne for their welcome the first time I came and their choice of books quite interesting and diverse. I did internships and worked in library so I know a little about the field. People will really have to stop thinking that library staff spend their time doing nothing and just reading. Librarians have all the time for work. Librarians buy books, enter them on the management software, cover them, quote them, put them on the shelves. They have to organize animations, welcome classes. if books have not been borrowed for years, they must be pounded (removed from the library). Some have to manage the budget. Not to mention magazines, CDs and sometimes in some libraries DVDs. And I just talked about activities OUTSIDE public opening hours, backstage. Library staff work in the morning and afternoon. During opening hours, they make the loan, the return of docs, animations, storage, registrations. And libraries are open on Saturdays and some on Sundays. So it's also up to the public to find a moment to go. Because the library staff is also SALARIE!

Opening hours are for the unemployed and those who have nothing to do. We employees when we arrive is always closed. They do not work those people a lot. 3 days of closing off is unacceptable for 1 paid service with our local taxes. It's time to refile all that! Municipal employees are paying with our taxes. I prefer to use the betting libraries.

Thank you for the range of your new schedules, the richer choice of news, congratulations for your advice and your kindness. Small flat, I preferred all the librarians on the floor, near us, rather than, as punished, in front of the door. H.A.R.

Restricted hours Few places to study for adults.

Very bad, to be avoided, the staff are rude and mess with us when we don't say hello or goodbye, and don't let the children go upstairs !! Really anything! The most lousy of any library I know
