Dr Crepin has helped Felix (my cat) stay safe and healthy. He is a great doctor!

Dr. Crepin is a wonderful veterinarian. Pure and simple. He is compassionate, yes, and empathetic, too, but what impresses me most about him is how he is able to balance these necessary qualities with a firm grounding in reality. In 2005 a beloved cat of mine took ill, and Dr. Crepin delivered the difficult news of his terminal condition with no sugar-coating. I recall him saying, "Take him home and enjoy the rest of your time together. He still has a few stories to tell. You'll know when it is time." Then, when it was time to say "Goodbye." to my friend, Dr. Crepin came to my home to do what needed to be done. He was patient, kind...everything you hope for and need in such a situation. Our relationship continues, too, with Dr. Crepin seeing to the health of our cat for the past 10+ years

My cat Milo died suddenly in April 2020 while in confinement from a stroke after Dr. Crepin initially diagnosed in early March a "strain" in the rear paw that he could not move. Milo had been followed by Dr Crepin since the day of his adoption in December 2016. Following this surprising diagnosis and the persistence of symptoms despite the anti-inflammatory drugs prescribed, we then consulted several veterinarians to ensure the diagnosis and it turned out that our cat was in fact suffering from a heart defect causing serious neurological problems. and localized paralysis. I am aware that an animal diagnosis is particularly difficult, but I still find very shocking the lightness with which he treated this subject, while I was very worried and my cat was going through episodes of paralysis, which I did not. did not fail to tell him. The same evening of the consultation with Dr Crepin, I even had to call SOS Veterinaire because his condition had deteriorated considerably over the hours and he was at its worst. I called the office the next day and no one ever came back to me to check on my cat. Today, it has been over 6 months since we returned to the office and we have not heard from the Doctor. It also happens that Milo has a twin brother, Merci, from the same litter and his death made us see a new vet as we were very worried that something would happen to him. This new veterinarian detected an identical heart defect, again, undiagnosed by Dr. Crepin. This is all a pity because my husband and I found Dr Crepin very pleasant and courteous. However, this diagnostic error and this total lack of follow-up led us to have to go to another practice. I hope that this message can raise awareness of the diagnosis of possible cats with the same pathology. I specify that our cats are of the British shorthair breed.
