Restaurant La Maison d'à Côté

We had the pleasure of having lunch here and it was a perfect and heavenly experience. All dishes were exceptional, creative and delicious. So much care and love went into them. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and had much patience with our kids of 6 and almost 2 (who unfortunately had other interests than the dishes served...). For the kids they made an alternate menu more suitable to their palate. All with the same dedication and quality. Thank you for this unforgettable moment and amazing finishing touch of our holidays.

Just 5 stars. My risotto starter wasn't great but everything else was. We both had the onlet of beef and while a bit expensive with a 10 € supplement it was fantastic quality and beautifully cooked. We both finished off with a lovely local cheese selection.

Nothing special! We found this place on Google with many positive reviews and decided to try it out during our holiday in the Loire valley. Pluses: cosy place, waiters speak English. Minuses: reservation is needed, and we had to change our plans to make it to the bistro. When I had to make wine choices, the waiter said that the somelier was coming. However noone came, and the same waiter poured me some wine (I don't mind, but it was weird). Food was really avarage, or maybe we had too high expectations from a place run by 2-star Michelen chef. And in the end, the waiter forgot to bring wine with my desert.

A very nice place. the dishes are more focussed on taste than being huge. It is a foodie place, very high quality. the kids liked the menu also as it's a smaller version of the main menu, so also good quality.

Excellent food, very helpful stuff and a nice atmosphere. We had a great time
