I have a new scan 85 stove used since last October, supposed to heat 500m3, and which does not exceed 15 ° C at 3 meters from the stove. The rest of the house is clearly below, while I only have 230m3 to heat. It had been sold to me as a heating system allowing to have a homogeneous temperature in the whole housing. However, the verdict is final: it is very cold throughout the house. Noting this, I wrote a letter to the installer, who sent me a technician 2 weeks later. Said technician checked the conformity of the installation, made a sweeping, and came to the following conclusion: the cold is explained by the fact that I use the stove badly, that the wood is not dry etc. Several neighbors, however, use the same wood and easily manage to heat more than necessary. In short, everything works well for the installer who did not offer me a solution to resolve the problem. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for the promised call from the boss, which I have raised in the meantime. Morality: an installation sold very expensive, a house where it is cold and an after-sales service that passes on the stove's malfunctions to the customer. Business to flee, I for my part continue to be cold.
