Wild landscape and very apreciable hike

Cave, which is known from Marcel Pagnol's autobiographical novel "Souvenir d'enfance" ("A childhood in Provence"). Marcel and his friend Lili took refuge in this cave during a thunderstorm. The cave is located just below the summit of the Pic du Taoumé, on the trail. The entry is a bit narrow, but feasible for slimmer people. The cave has an exit on the other side of the mountain. However, this exit is possible only with equipment (abseiling).
