Camping Huttopia Rambouillet

** Don't waste your time*** We stayed at this campsite in August for 2 nights. The first night we arrived late and were not allowed to enter. Even though we sent an email stating we were arriving late we got no reply. You were simply told that we were not allowed to into the campsite. Once we arrived on our second day we noticed that there were many wasps. Which meant that we could not eat outside... not a great start. In the evening a group of Irish gypsies arrived who had a party until the early hours of the morning. The manager, who I ended up feeling rather sorry for could not control anything. The Travellers were intimidating, loud noisy. there were children and family staying nearby. It was a complete nightmare. The next day we were promised her refund. However this never happened, the card machine was not working. I chased up my refund the number of times once we returned to the UK with customer services and emails. It is now September and I still have not received in a refund. Don't waste your time.

Nice camping in the woods. Shame about the lack of services, after 6 hours driving we were informed that the bar/restaurant was only open for a private seminar; not the welcome we expected. No prior warning was given when booking, no discount given for lack of services. I felt guilty disturbing them when asking for a simple bottle of water.

The campside is beautiful, but the restaurant is terrible and super expensive. Worst fries ever in my life.

Nice place with restaurant and natural swimming pool

Stayed here in late September, quiet and good pitch. Avoid staying under an oak tree, the acorns hot the van like bullets! Good showers and toilets, pool still open.
