This T3 tram station is adjacent to the old Villeurbanne SNCF train station, which is prettier than the modern tram stations. It has a distributor of TCL transport tickets and seats. It is also covered. It is located right next to a former TCL car park now open to everyone and never full. Young people from the neighborhood have made this parking lot their meeting place. They are quite often noisy and rowdy, sometimes in a scooter or in a car, or even in a van. But I've never seen them bother anyone or damage a vehicle. Please note, the parking lot is occupied by the market two or three times a week. The Gare de Villeurbanne stop is right in front of the Intermarché store. This is convenient for running a race from the center. This station is only 3 stops from Part-Dieu train station and a few from the La Soie shopping center. A Vélo'v station and a used glass container are right next door.
