L'Escale Gourmande

Thank you for this Gourmet Stopover that our taste buds greatly appreciated during a trip on the road to Rennes. And for this joke that our 4 year old daughter tells to whoever will listen ... you know, the papaya one;) ... fruit that she discovered at the same time. Good luck to all your very pleasant team!

Truly a great discovery: excellent "home-made" cuisine at an unbeatable price so close to Nantes ... The new owner is in the kitchen: he regaled us with his "homemade" stuffed tomatoes with veal stuffing (really delicious) and his fish Parmentier with fresh and tasty olives. For dessert we enjoyed an incredible tarte Tatin. Even the wine (at a price never seen before) was good, and the bill was incredibly smooth. We will come back because we have seen burgers and butcher's pieces that we felt were worth the trip! In short, more than a stopover, I think it's a restaurant that really deserves a detour for its welcome and its more than gourmet cuisine.

Very well ! Having got off the plane at 13:50, we were looking for a place to eat before starting several hours away. We were able to eat despite the late hour and close to closing. The service was fast and efficient. The food is simple and very good. The coffee was also good.
