Hippopotamus Steakhouse

Their cod fillet is nice, but a bit pricey for such a small portion. Their fries could be better. We had to wait quite some time to have our orders taken. I found most of the staff members to be inattentive and unfriendly. And their tableware was not clean.

The most rudest staff I have ever met in my life. I do NOT recommend this place. After waiting for our Drinks and watching our RUDE waitress serve everyone else. When we asked her she stood there and laughed at us. Then to make matters worse we asked to speak to the manager and he laughed at us also. I was in absolute shock I heard from other people the people in Paris are rude but I had no idea this rude.

Great food at an affordable price. Amazing caramelised onion sauce! Lovely service even for a group of non French-speaking shoppers.
