Logis Hôtel le Richelieu Fontainebleau

Quirky hotel with slightly dated rooms but with an attentive and charming manager, and in pole position right next to the chateau (and the theatre, which was closed under COVID19 but operating a fabulous pop up bar in the tree shaded gardens - photo attached). There is a large municipal car park just at the end of the street.

I highly recommend this hotel, I visited here to celebrate my father's 60th birthday. They have clean rooms and hygiene bathrooms, also the breakfast is great here and when we ate dinner here the quality of the food was superb!

Wonderful hotel located a stone throw away from Fontainebleau castle and only 15 min away on foot from business school Insead. The rooms are small but well equipped and cozy, breakfast has all the essential options (no hot meals), and service is extremely friendly. Highly recommended (and a lot more affordable than other options in the town).

It´s a fantastic place with a great location. The restaurant is just amazing with the most delightful food. The hotel is cozy and clean with a warm atmosphere. The owners are fantastic people! Helpful in any ways, friendly and enthusiastic. We had three great days in Fontainebleau at this superb place.
