After several Toyotas, I had decided to make a "patriotic buy" and buy a Kangoo 1.5dci. At 60,000 km, the first technical control detects faults in the steering: ball joints + rack to change. As a reminder, a rack has an average lifespan of around 300,000km according to Autoplus magazine. At 60 and after having owned many cars, this is the first time that I change a rack. Despite a contribution from Renault after-sales service of € 400, obtained after tough negotiation, it remains at my expense € 700! Used to the Japanese and impeccable technical controls, I fall from above. It's decided, after repair, I sell my kangoo and I buy a Japanese! No wonder Renault is losing customers and having financial difficulties. Support French manufacturers, okay, but not at this price.
