Restaurant Crous du Haut-Carré

This is one of the worst places to eat in Bordeaux. The food is spiceless, especially free of salt. The meat is of terribly low quality and usually undercooked. The selection of starters and deserts is quite nice and the service is okay. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant is the cheap price and the large amount of "food" on your plate. So if you don't have enough money for a proper meal or if you are used to eat your own weight in potatoes during lunch, do come here.

Let's be honest, this university restaurant is working well and the quality remains correct if you pay a price below 4 € with subsidies. Beyond that I advise you to eat elsewhere. The affluence is very strong despite everything. Remember to arrive early ;-)

Inexpensive restaurant for students, which on the whole is quite complete (generally) but the quality of the products often leaves something to be desired. The interior is a bit "dated", and the exterior of the building which seems to want to collapse at any moment!
