Tasted this December 24 a "Love Pits" cake from this pastry shop, surprise! It had nothing to do with the original recipe, which basically consisted of choux pastry topped with Chiboust cream. It was a thin chocolate cookie topped with chocolate mousse and raspberry jelly (so full of seeds that I had to rinse my braces after tasting). No Christmas decoration, apart from a wafer of white chocolate. Disappointing !

Very pretty place with a modern and warm design, excellent pastry and perfect tea and coffee! The welcome is warm (better than at Christian de la Cathédrale). We relax there, and we want to go back.

We visited this pastry shop because it offered a tea room, upstairs. And when it comes to a salon, it really is. The atmosphere that reigns in the tea room area located on the first floor of the pastry shop is very cozy and opulent. It is very pleasant to savor a sweetness in such a place. On the ground floor, a lot of customers were seated on the terrace, but I preferred to join the tea room upstairs with my partner. I opted for an ice cream, a frozen meringue. The sorbets and ice creams are homemade. The whipped cream too. I chose the blueberry and sour cherry scent. The result is excellent. Personally, these are the best ice cream I have tasted. The two balls are placed on an imitation slate plate, cooled in the freezer to keep the ice cream cool, small meringues are placed around the two balls, the whole is covered with whipped cream. The whipped cream is very light, barely sweet, which reveals the aromas of dairy products present in the cream, without harming the taste of the sorbets. My partner opted for a hot chocolate and they too had a blast. We recommend this place which I'm sure is one of the best pastry shops in Strasbourg, located a stone's throw from the cathedral. Note also the picturesque spiral staircase dating from the 16th century which allows us to reach the tea room upstairs. As for the price, of course the prices are a step above an ice cream maker or a usual pastry chef, but the setting, the atmosphere of a lounge, the warm welcome from the waitress and the quality of the products deserve the little. plus tariffs. Contrary to one of the reviews, we got a card and were served promptly. Certainly we will return there on our next visit to Strasbourg.

I made an order for my birthday cake. I heard a lot about this pastry shop, so I thought it would be the perfect place. The cake is very good. I took the raspberry tree. The team is top!
