PATISSERIE RISS

Too bad that the store staff degrades the reputation of this brand. Especially this lady with short graying hair who must have had a few professional years behind her, packed me over ½ kilo of iced chestnut in sachets that even the fast food around the corner was generating to offer to their customers. When I claimed it was for a gift, the response was that she personally found it pretty. She doesn't even have the pride to showcase the work of people who do their best every day to offer flawless products. Certainly too busy chatting with repeat customers and more without masks than making a proper presentation for a passing customer. There are other pastry / confectionery in the region which are equally good, with impeccable hospitality and service. The effort for the special trip to the pastry shop, parking lot, tram and the price of the product needs to be redone, but certainly not at Riss.

The pastry is not cheap (Garden € 3.90), I found an insect under the topping (surely an ant), the saleswoman explained to me that it was not her that he had dropped off above, I had to answer him that it is surely not me !!! and that she should go see her pastry chef. After consulting with her colleagues, she changed my pastry (which I had started) without ever apologizing ... what a lack of professionalism

Emblematic and charming place in the city center of Strasbourg. Quality products. The sales staff could be a little more polite.

First and last visit. 12 € for a blueberry tart for 4 people: tasteless, blending ?, and very expensive for what it is! Good welcome.

Really, really disappointing ... Beautiful brand, beautiful product but the staff ... Waitresses who whisper behind the backs of customers and who talk about a really personal subject and under the belt I find that unacceptable in a pastry shop. I advise against it if it is to be greeted falsely and without skills. Passed your way the pastry next door is much better.
