Bar Les Gentianes

Bad experience. We had lunch there for one mid-season, two adults and two children. The way we were seated at the table, with an obvious casualness, at first surprised us a little. Then when ordering, our children under 7 chose an à la carte hamburger to share, this dish not being offered in the children's formula. The waitress then warns us that a cover charge of 4.5 euros would be applied in addition, as one of the children does not choose a dish. We are surprised and dispute. The waitress, although friendly, tells us that it is the boss's choice. We therefore ask to see it and it confirms by specifying that we are not obliged to stay. Really disagreeable attitude towards us. We consume the burgers and for desserts and coffees choose to look elsewhere. Place to avoid, too bad because the terrace is nice and sunny.

A very unpleasant moment thanks to a disdainful, disrespectful boss who in his own words "does not need money", he has totally sent us off. We just wanted to have ice cream with our son around 8:15 pm; the machine was still outside and had not been cleaned ... in addition there is no indication of the service hours for ice cream. We were left empty-handed and our son was totally disgusted. Ah yes I was going to forget the boss was eating on the terrace and at his table there was a little boy who apparently had the right to ice cream ... Too strong!

Despite the crowds on a Friday evening, the waitress made us feel welcome. She warned us of the wait, but it was reasonable. The plates were well filled and tasty. The waitresses very pleasant.

Bar-restaurant in a pleasant square. This place is nice to have a beer and it can help out to eat. The salad was not bad. Despite this, the boss's attitude is regrettable, the welcome couldn't be colder. I will not be going back.

To flee!!!!!! It doesn't even deserve 1 star! 1 hour wait for a fondue with holy nectaire and a braised ham, never seen before! ZERO Covid Security Measures! The boss does not even wear the mask and his behavior leaves much to be desired (he is completely uninterested in his customers). Fortunately the waitress is nice.
