My party from London were recommended this bar for a good night out but our actual experience was the complete opposite. Most nights we were here, a local would start arguments, often physical fights, and in the end we were banned - despite all disputes started by the French, not the English. The bouncer and some other locals were lovely but this didn’t excuse the obvious discrimination against myself and my friends for just being English. Would not recommend this bar if you’re not French.

Barred for being tourists, go to Le Marlow for a much better night out. The locals started fights for no reason, friend got punched out of nowhere. EDIT: Thanks for your reply! While we may have been drunk, we never initiated any fights, merely defended ourselves when attacked after having xenophobic insults hurled at us all evening. I understand the banning of all parties involved and the reasoning. But there's just no need to lie through your teeth. Grow up.

Staff were rude and abrasive. Bartender "Clementine" tried to overcharge us on multiple occasions and then refused to serve us before getting us kicked out. Easily one of the worst bars I've ever visited. Drink prices were average at best. Plenty more great bars in Les Carroz, shame that this one had to taint our experience of the town. Edit: Always wore a mask when instructed, please stop lying it's draining to read these fibs.

Banned from visiting for no reason the establishment repeatedly kicked out the english for being english. VISIT LE MARLOW for a good drink and a good time. Carpe Diem is a negative environment. Often try to charge more than the price of the drinks hoping you wont notice. Been coming to this town for over 10 years and this bar would be my least recommendation. Edit: after seeing the humorous reply from the owner I think it is important that anyone reading this knows that they are not telling the truth. We have also been to Le Marlow since who were very hospitable and welcoming to us :/ YIKES!
