HSBC Paris Odeon

Racist against East Asians. The ATM machine is even more helpful and more competent that the human in there because, at least, they can achieve something and they don't lie to you. The system is very weird, lots of unnecessary procedure that doesn't help improving their competency, but rather causing endless problems. The website and the app are very poor and broken. Can't believe that this is the so-called "biggest" international bank in the world. The service is 1000 times poorer than even average bank in a third world country. Even 1 star is tooooo much for them. They deserve NONE.

I would give zero stars if it was possible. What a horrendous experience! - you cannot reach the office by phone as all you get are endless "choose one"-options that end in "we couldn't identify your account"-message. - the appointment I booked with their central reservation system then was apparently invalid - the officer I booked with went on holiday! - the staff speaks really poor English - I was told I'll get all the answers by email (as the staff didn't have the official information), never heard back from them - the person who received me refused to give her name or contacts Seriously, is this an international bank or some roadside provincial scam boutique?! End result: I have nearly 10 000 euros in a frozen deposit account with them that I would like to end, and they are not even responding to inquiries what is needed to terminate this account.

Waited more than 2 weeks for my debit card. They spelled my name wrong so the card was useless. Had to wait another 2 weeks to receive my final card. When activating mobile banking, it came out they spelled my name wrong again on my email (this time it was a different spelling mistake than on the card - how is this possible????) and put a wrong phone number in so I had to go back to the office to change it again. It's almost 6 weeks and I still cannot make use of my account for which I am supposedly paying for....

Phone appointment made today. The advisor calls me 20 minutes late to finally tell me that HSBC is not taking new clients for home loans until October 31st. A policy change that is nowhere posted on their website. Go your way. This bank is not serious at all.
