Nice easy climb up to the tower. There’s a cafe at the base of the tower serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. There is a large area of woodland surrounding the tower for exploring and some natural springs if you know where to look!
A really nice place to have a great family outing. The walk from the main road (of about 0.5 mile) is very tranquil.
The tower still has a cafe open where you get hot tea, coffee and hot chocolates. You can also get hot soups, pastries, cakes etc.
The tower is on top of a hill and view area stunning. You can see as far as the Wembley stadium. There are various walks well signposted that you can take with your family.
You can also bring your mountain bikes to have a good ride along the hills and valleys.
Area very popular with walkers and cyclists. Great views over the surrounding countryside in fine weather. Hatch at bottom of tower serving drinks, cakes, ice cream and savoury snacks.

And the views from the tower are never ending.
Beautiful place for day out, walking & cycling or a picnic with family and friends, the pictures works it self.
Though the day was cloudy and cold but it was worth a visit out of city for fresh air.
