Hadn’t been here for years. But enjoyed the experience. I remember seeing films here in the 70s. Different layout then. Thought the cinema seats were comfortable, and it was a big screen. It would be worth going back again. We parked just up the road in The Galleries car park. Easy and cheap parking.
Love the old place but it really was looking tired. Went with pals to see 1917. It was too hot, smelly and for a blockbuster spectacle the projection was quite poor, but tickets were reasonably priced. Take a leaf out of Scott/Orpheus's book in Henleaze or Everyman in Whiteladies Rd. This part of town needs more life at night. You need a new selling point and we know what it is: have a revamp and open up the deco-style bar-room!
No wheelchair access and completely inaccessible. What is this, the 1900's? Pathetic. Won't ever go to a Odeon cinema again as they clearly don't want disabled people visiting. Big chain like that can afford some tarmac for the entrance.
Great cinema, with very reasonable prices. I go there all the time when there is a film i would like to see.
Good value for money . Why pay £10 for a ticket when you can get a ticket for £5 at the Odeon
