Fantastic Flavouring
I tried their Sea Salt and Caramel Fudge and it was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. I would definitely recommend it.
I live in France but have family in Scotland and often go there but every time I go to Gardiners of Scotland fudge and every time I am delighted with the taste of the fudge. They have delightful tins and are perfect for gifts that would be why I would give gardiners of Scotland a 5 star raiting
The "Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Fudge" made by them is a total joke! Why? Here's why... they claim:
1) "Traditional Scottish recipe" - really? with palm oil and (artificial) flavouring?
2) "A generous measure of Jack Daniels in every batch" - I understand the "batch" is something like 500kg? Because in your can of 300g you will find as little as 0.6ml of Jack Daniels (the listed content is 0.2%)
One teaspoon is about 4ml.... if you would prepare that at home, you would simply have to dip a teaspoon in whiskey and then stir the fudge. That is not a generous measure. Thats making your customers look like an idiot!
Very good, I really enjoy the different sections of sweets. The macaroon is my personal favourite but the other stuff is also enjoyable.
Popped into their factory shop as its local to me and got some various tins of fudge for the family xmas. What can I say its gorgeous although i do like the original fudge.....melts in your mouth !
