Lovely area, quite a steep walk around with a few broken trees that need sorting. But lovely place none the less.

Great structure with information boards on when and how it was built. Very interesting and great walk along the canal too. The river paths were closed for some reason when we went. Only access was aquaduct to Caton Road and back. Unless you walk along the canal.

Worth a visit if you are in the Lancaster area, steps up to the top, if you're lucky you may watch a boat come along. The views are brilliant.

It’s beautiful to see how far the river goes as it’s hugged by trees from both sides, and the rivers reflects the sky so elegantly, the whole scenery looks so harmonic and peaceful.
