Possibly one of my most favourite places on earth! The views are spectacular and the construction, visually, is exquisite. Such a shame they've covered the post corners with Harris Fencing to prevent people 'congregating together!! The photographic vantage points from those spots is awesome, but one day, again....soon :) until the next time Bristol...stop raising the toll fare and allow payment by cash. Its still a legal tender, for now!!

An interesting insight into how the bridge was designed and built. The walk across the bridge was worth doing (despite not being fond of heights) to see it up close and for the views. Great to see this iconic structure up close & personal and to marvel at this feat of engineering. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful spot with great views on all sides. Especially spectacular at sunset. However, be aware that their restrictions imposed on the bridge in the light of covid mean pedestrians are limited to which side they walk across. There have been metal barriers placed at the open areas of each side and any pedestrians stopping to admire the view, take photos or take a rest will be shouted at to keep moving..

Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton area is an area of natural beauty. Walk or drive over this spectacular bridge with small toll to pay. Outstanding views from the bridge. So many listed buildings and classy shops to be found. The stunning bridge designed by Brunnel surrounded by green park land. Wonderful views, individual shops and elegance all around. Home to Bristol university and a vibrant place to be. You must visit York Crescent which is similar to The Crescent in Bath, property prices are rather high as you would imagine. Lots of street parking and some nice hotels.
