One of my favourite NT sites. Really lovely gardens, check out the rose garden and the walled garden. Definitely look in the green houses. Lots of different trees, the redwood is huge. Cow barn cafe by the entrance is where to get a tea and cake or wait until you get down by the walled garden and use the cafe there. One way system currently in operation, which takes the edge of a bit, it was just nice to wander. Loads of photo opportunities. Just such a nice place to chill.....

Good food and service and house was fine although cut down due to COVID. Well done National Trust.

Wonderful grounds for a walk. Pre-booking required for arrival time for social distancing. We felt very safe.
