Very nice view over the Loch Ness lake. Fort Augustus is nice overnight stop. There are boat trips, speed boat or canoeing. Tickets can be bought form Cruise Loch Ness office witch is right next to the bridge. If you book for canoeing, if the weather gets bad the crew might only take you up the river Oich. Some souvenir shops, pubs, grocery at the fuel station. Car trips , bike rides are worth doing around the lake.

Filled with ducks in a cute village with plenty amenities. Great views of the wonderful Loch Ness.
