Athlete Service

This is a great place to go and get your bike fixed. Its a nice informal atmosphere, they know what they are doing and will try their best to fix your bike if you are tight on time. They also do some good fitness classes upstairs and have a good shop (although its mainly roadie stuff). So as well as catering for the more elite in the sport they are pretty good at taking care of us more casual sports folk.

the team are AS are both super professional and knowledgeable, but more importantly the customer service and desire to help are second to none. I have recently had a bike fit there which has completely changed my biking experience. My ride is now more comfortable but also my power output is now materially higher. Rob spent a considerable amount of time in helping me sort a new saddle and tried a number of different ones over a few weeks. Never even a glint of impatience. Cant speak highly enough of them and recommend them without question.

Brilliant, friendly service. I had a spell of bad luck with repeated punctures recently and went in several times over the space of a few days with questions I was a little embarrassed to ask. Each time they were very friendly and helped me to sort out several issues with my rear wheel that have since solved the puncture issues. I would definitely recommend to any fellow novice cyclists or runners.

Great shop run by athletes for athletes. These guys are very knowledgeable, the shop holds a wide variety of stock and they have a fully equipped workshop. They serve great coffee and cake too! You will find many of the local riders here on the weekends.

Disappointed Experience. My partner bought me a folding bike which I was very excited to have, unfortunately the next day I was only to find out I had a flat tyre. My Partner called up Athletic service to get the bike fixed for me. Fantastic! She was told they have other repairs to do ( ok that’s fine ) but was told “we encourage people to do their own puncher repairs” my partner told them she doesn’t know how to and doesn’t have any tools. Not what I would say “good customer service” We went to Henley cycles who were very helpful
