Called to request a repeat sick note for my mental health. Usually I don't have any issue with this. However The receptionist who was conversing with me not only refused to put the request in with my doctor but she cut me off mid sentence whilst I was trying to request a phone call, to talk with a doctor and then continued to raise her voice Repeatedly saying "alright love and goodbye". So unprofessional and really mean, I was on the phone for less than a minute before I chose to hang up whilst in tears.

Lady on reception is very rude and blunt. Not very welcoming at all. It would be much better to have a kind person on reception as first point of contact.

Doctors are good but practice staff can be rude. They assume you know everything they know about the practice. I went to collect a prescription after a telephone consultation only to find the dispensary is closed between 1-2pm (this is not stated on the surgery website - certainly not in a logical, easy to find place). The receptionist I spoke to said she could only get "green" prescriptions without explaining what these may be. When I asked her if it would be possible to ask the doctors to tell patients that the dispensary is closed over lunch, she rudely told me "well it's written on the door". That it may be - but that's no use when I've not been in to Mildenhall for months. I still have to make a wasted journey to find this out. This is not the first time reception staff here have assumed that no-one who comes to the surgery has a job, or has to travel any great distance, or rarely uses the surgery. Treating people like they're ignorant when the information isn't available is rude and frustrating.

Had an awful attack of gout. Managed to drive myself to mildenhall but did damage driving. Simply couldn’t walk. At one stage I fell over and was prone on the pavement and members of the public simply walked round me. I had to phone the surgery to say I’d be late as I was struggling to walk. Minutes later they phoned back to ask where I was and minutes after that one of the receptionists arrived with a wheelchair. I honestly believe if she hadn’t done this id still be on that pavement. After my appointment I called my dad to pick me up and two receptionists wheeled me outside and helped me into the car. I can’t speak highly enough of the reception staff it was well above the call of duty. I wish id taken note of the name of the lady who originally came with the chair but if she reads this thank you so much.

Phoned as thought had chest infection week leading up to Christmas. Got call back to say oh you have a virus. How that was diagnosed over the phone is beyond me. Boxing day had to do 111 so poorly got seen to be told throat infection so my Christmas ruined due to not being seen sooner . Now on the mend thanx to 111. Diagnosing over the phone is a joke. Not impressed. And it took 64 calls to get through . 8am
