This review is for Lackford Lakes. This place is fantastic. There is a small centre where you can get a coffee or nip to the loo and there's seats outside for when the weather is nice. The lakes are beautiful. You can happily stroll around watching and listening to the birds and the whole experience is tremendously relaxing. Definitely needed during lockdown. If you aren't a birdwatcher I recommend downloading a couple of apps to identify birds and birdsong. Well worth going.

This is an amazing place, a hidden gem. Its a beautiful peaceful place, the various bird song sounds, the views of the lakes are just stunning. The small but well stocked coffee shop is a lovely as its surroundings. Fun and safe area for the children to run and play, they even have a route for dog walkers, you must see this place and try the amazing coffee.

Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve Was a delightful place on a beautiful misty morning. Shame the hides wore locked and the odd path closed though we are in Tier 4. Cafe was open for outside dining. Lovely for a family walk but the majority of the area you can't take your dog. There is one walk you can take your dog but I don't think you can let them off the lead. Mx

It is better when you can get in the hides but at the moment they are closed due to covid.
