Being a first-time patient here (I usually go to its partner surgery, Riverview Park, but they didn't have any openings for weeks), I was a little apprehensive after reading so many bad reviews. However, I thought they were fantastic! Maybe because I was the first patient of the day this morning, I don't know...but I needed to have blood taken and I was let in promptly for my appointment time by a very friendly receptionist, waited about one minute to be called, had blood taken by an extremely friendly and cheerful nurse, and that was it. In and out in roughly five minutes. It's unfortunate that so many people feel they've had a bad experience at The Shrubbery, but if I ever get sent back there I won't hesitate.

ive used the shrubbery plenty of times now and never had a problem. they have always been very helpful and i wouldn't think twice about using them again. dont know how they have got so many bad reviews.

Their reception, I don't think she have a good communication manners. I was trying to explain to her that their practice in Gravesend is on wrong voice message. She just cutted me off.

One of the worst practices ever!!! They are like a circus over there. I have to constantly chase them regarding an ongoing issue with my newborn. I find them very unhelpful, sending prescriptions late. I am in the process of finding another surgery. I would not recommend them at all.

The doctors are nice and helpful but the receptionists are outright nasty and bitter. Had a long issue trying to get my medication which I desperately needed, was told my prescription was sent to Williams Chemist, checked each morning for a few days and each time they would say they didn't have it. The chemist said it was sent to the Well Pharmacy days later. Went to get it from Well and they said they received nothing. I phoned the reception again to ask where it all was and when she was checking, the receptionists were all taking the piss saying "If it's meant to be that urgent, I don't know why they haven't collected it yet." - The reason I hadn't is because I NOR THEM knew where my tablets were and gave me a huge run around! This is not the first time I and other patients have heard these receptionists talk to people like literal garbage and even witness them criticising peoples' issues that they've heard on the phone.
