This practice, how it has survived this long I simply have no idea! making out they know the answers when quite a lot them are frankly ignorant; and to top it off they speak ever so rudely like some ancient headmaster about to punish you or shout you down over-talking you, when they themselves are in the wrong! I find them very quick to jump into conclusions, no listening skills hence making repeated mistakes, especially a particular individual which will definitely be raised at the board meetings as all of this manic cruel behaviour has somewhat been going on for years. And let’s not get started with the GP...I mean complacency will be an understatement. The practice is running but not being managed and the reason why it exists without changes in the improvement of service is because a lot more voices are needed to vocalize their concerns, complaints, take it up with P.A.L.S, investigations, solicitors or even the OMBUDSMAN. Options are there with very simple steps for those who may think it is all complicated. And there are independent companies out there too. By any means if there is negligence like I have experienced, regarding my family then staying quiet will only leave problems unresolved where others will feel the brunt of it and furthermore problems can occur. The reason why I am writing in this manner is because this practice definitely needs a revamp. Patients don't need to tolerate in fear and I get other elderly who feel where else are they going to turn for a local GP and also to fulfil their language barriers? In post code of E1 alone, there are many practices with these facilities, need not worry or don't just take my word for it-once you look into it you'll know what I mean. In this area alone there is a number of facilities and other additional services to cater for all your needs. And if you still do not want to look elsewhere, just by raising your concerns/complaints to the relevant department will oblige for those responsible to act responsibly and you also can get further services to aid in most of your difficulties. All you need is the confidence and zero tolerance against professionals acting like amateurs getting away with mistreating people endless amount of times.

Worse doctors surgery ever! particularly 1 receptionist who is absolutely rude. Clearly she had a very bad upbringing. Recently tried to book an urgent appointment for my 4 days old baby and they floored me off pretending we were given an appointment.

Recently moved to this area post lockdown; experience with nhs has been strangely positive during this covid period - used to take me weeks to get an appointment in other places but super easy to schedule a phone appointment with the GP now, and although on one occasion the gp on the line couldn’t help with my query he very helpfully directed me to another colleague. Face to face appointments are also more available now, usually within 2-3 days after phone appointment. My experience with the medical staffs have been great as well, especially with nurse Vivian who has been super helpful, patient and considerate. Many negative reviews given here are directed towards the receptionists - all I can say is that though they might not be the friendliest or most helpful bunch but they are just doing their job, there’s a lot of things out of their bounds and not much point venting or showing your angst/frustration towards them. Personally I always approached them in a polite and friendly manner and never encounter any problems.

Very poor service at reception, no help and dismissive, no pick up the phone, and when you are there you can see and hear the telephone ringing, meanwhile they are texting in their personal phones. Personal phones should be banned during work, like in many other jobs....

Not accommodating with elderly patients or those less tech savvy. Bearing in mind the clinic is located in Tower Hamlets, one of the most populated pupils hailing from Bangladesh, those elderly first generations who arrived to UK. They're being refused appointments by those Very Same Staff who have the skills to speak the same language to facilitate those patients are refusing to help. They show no mercy and strictly direct those patients with little or no English who are too old to use a smartphone to go and book their appointments online. And they will check to confirm if you have children at home and the “requirement” to approach them first. If you don’t or have not considered this, they will outright refuse you an appointment. The telephone booking’s appalling bearing those who cannot book online are all phoning at the same 8am-9am bookings slot. If you phone outside these hours, you’re too late. You’re left on hold for so long that eventually when someone picks up, they’re out of slots or it’s past 9am so you’re directed to book online again. If not, you need to ring again the next morning between 8-9am to ensure you abide by telephone booking rules and the vicious cycle begins. What an utter disgraceful service.
