Rare that I would give full starts but this restaurant was very deserving. Scene set on a picturesque Island in the middle of Loch Lomond what more can you want for a place to be. It was warm and ambient. The team members of staff throughout were so friendly and helpful too. The food was served perfectly and very tasty too. The value was so worth every penny and the convenience of paying for the boat from the mainland to the Island at the restaurant added that extra help to relax. Amazing restaurant staff and food and great views wherever you sat. Top marks. Thank you

Lovely meal in a unique location. It was wonderful being taken over by ferry. The service, food and setting was excellent. Highly recommend

Just a great little place to visit for the day. The meal was lovely, as was the service. The Dad picks you up at Arden in his wee boat. His daughter takes your order in the restaurant snd her mother cooks it. Seeing all the Grouse, visiting the ruined castle was lovely. Have a visit if you can.

Great location (particularly on a nice day) and lovely relaxed friendly service. We had a lovely lunch with the starter (lentil and lamb soup) and dessert (ice cream) all being very good. The slight let down and the reason for four stars was the beef olives for the main course, which were dry and not so good. I wouldn’t let it put me off though, it was a great lunchtime and I’d very happily do it again.
